SERVICES
The first step in e-Learning is to clarify the goal of the project, and how this project will contribute to your organizational goals. We ask you or your experts about what goes wrong in your company and what employees need to learn to do better at their jobs. After writing clear learning objectives and analyzing learners' needs and abilities, you will need to decide the teaching sequence of your objectives. The most common teaching sequences are: linear and non linear.
We offer the following types of e-learning:
Linear
In a linear presentation, each slide shows sequentially in a fairly rigid structure determined by the presenter in advance. So, the flow, the content, and areas of detail are decided by the presenter based on their assumptions. This model, also called Bottom-Up, is ideal for novice learners, as it usually starts from the very basics, and adds information incrementally.Non-Linear
There are two types of non linear presentations: Top-Down and Scenario-Based.
In the top-down sequencing, the learner starts at the top objective, assuming she has all the prerequisites. Learners who lack those prerequisites can continue down the hierarchy to access the objects that teach the knowledge they lack. With this model, the structure, order and level of detail are all decided by the audience. Learners are presented with information only when they request it or demonstrate they need it. This is a good choice for advanced users or just-in-time learning, as learners only seek information at the moment of need.
In a scenario-based sequencing, learners are presented with a challenging situation and then asked to choose how to proceed. All options offer feedback, showing the consequences of each action taken. The learner advances by applying what they've learned and making choices rather than by simply clicking the player's <Next> button. Because this structure exposes learners to multiple paths, it offers a better understanding of a complex situation, and it provides context for abstract concepts and principles. Adults, by virtue of life and work experiences, develop a task-centered or problem-centered orientation to learning (Knowles, 1996). If training is developed around problem solving, then adults will learn content with the intention of using it.
This teaching sequence is a good choice for discovery learning where you encourage learners to choose their learning path.
Mobile
People now learn differently than in the past. Mobile technology is being used to increase profitability and reduce costs by delivering training and communication that is truly just in time, just enough, and just as needed.
Mobile-Learning can help your organization accomplish the following goals:
• Increase sales - salespeople can spend a few minutes brushing up right before an important sales call, or use a handheld to give their presentation while talking to someone in the office or at lunch.
• Improve execution - workers can review a how-to procedure right before they start a task.
• Improve marketing communications - professionals can show new products to prospects.
• Improve employee communications - HR professionals can explain new HR policies and benefits to employees.
• Coaching - managers can review previous training with subordinates.
